If you have been in a slump or feeling burned out, today I'm sharing what's helping me recover from burnout.
I also want to share how experiencing burnout is shifting my work and how I show up in the world. Last week, members of our coaching programs went on retreat together. We gathered with one intention - to rest.
Instead of taking care of everyone, I allowed myself to rest as well. As a result, I experienced one of the most transformative experiences I've ever had with a group of women. I could see how the insights I've gained and the practices I'm using to recover from burnout are how I want to be in my work, my relationships, and my life.
I don't think I would have gotten to the place I am now if I didn't force myself to clear space as I discussed in Episode 15. If you haven't gotten an opportunity to listen, I highly recommend you do.
I also want to share how our foundational habits program is changing as a result of me changing and I think it's for the better. For all of us.
I would love to know: What does burnout look like for you? How does it feel? What habits are you willing to release in order to recover? What might you gain if you do?
