Today I'm talking with my friend in work and life, Kirstin Pinit. Kirstin and I met nearly 5 years ago and immediately bonded over our passion for mind-body wellness, entrepreneurship, and coffee. Very quickly, we also noticed a shared tendency towards overworking.
Overworking: Doing more than is expected or required. Pushing harder than necessary to get the job done. Indulging perfectionism. Allowing fear to run the show. Using work as a means to distract or numb. #guilty!
Listen to our conversation as we explore where we learned to overwork, how it shows up in our lives, and what we're committed to doing differently now.
We'd love to know what you have to contribute to this conversation. Do you tend to overwork? How does it affect you? What are you doing to notice and interrupt this pattern?
